Verified
We confirmed a public studio with a street address from the studio’s own site or an official business listing, OR the artist supplied a current body-art license or facility permit which we checked against the issuing authority where a public register exists. Existing editorially verified profiles retain their editorial method and recorded verification date. Known home-based tattooing requires a verified license on file.
Listed
Compiled from a public professional source such as press coverage, a convention list, studio page, tourism guide or museum. These profiles are unverified. Phone, email, street address and booking details are not shown.
What verification does not mean
We do not rate artistic quality, endorse an artist, or judge cultural authority. Artists mainly practise Polynesian or Pacific tattoo work. Please research portfolios, hygiene and suitability independently.
Claim, correct or remove
Artists may claim a listing and provide studio or license evidence. Verification documents are private and deleted 30 days after a decision. Use our correction or removal form to challenge information; valid removal requests are handled within 7 days.
Review schedule
We review the directory and incoming requests weekly. Social links are included only when they clearly belong to the artist or studio.
